Labyrinth

Grace In The Desert Episcopal Church's reverend, Ann Whitfield stands inside the center of the churches labyrinth Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011.  The Summerlin church had their members paint rocks to contribute to the labyrinth, but many were stolen by vandals along with glass rocks.  Since then the church has put the labyrinth back together and replaced all of the missing rocks with regular rocks.  "They are not going to win," Rev. Ann Whitfield said.  The church plans to protect their labyrinth and to further develop the land surrounding the labyrinth by planting trees and adding benches.

There are just a couple of painted rocks that still  sit in Grace In The Desert Episcopal Church's labyrinth Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011.  The Summerlin church had their members paint rocks to contribute to the labyrinth, but many were stolen by vandals along with glass rocks.  Since then the church has put the labyrinth back together and replaced all of the missing rocks with regular rocks.  "They are not going to win," Rev. Ann Whitfield, the reverend of the church, said.  The church plans to protect their labyrinth and to further develop the land surrounding the labyrinth by planting trees and adding benches.
