Construction workers at the intersection between Spring Mountain Road and Las Vegas Boulevard work to repair a collapsed trench Friday afternoon, July 8, 2011 where traffic in all directions was affected.  The trench collapsed while a contractor was working on a steel pipe project.  Las Vegas Boulevard was down to one lane in each direction and Spring Mountain Road was down to one lane going east bound and two lanes going west bound.  The contractor on the scene is working around the clock until the problem is repaired which is predicted to be Sunday morning.
