A couple weeks ago I had to go to the middle of nowhere Kentucky (Hart County) and help with a building restoration of this home that was built in the early 1800s. It was a project for my vernacular architecture class and it ended up being a really interesting experience. The only down side was that it was freezing almost the entire time. (I had on almost every piece of clothing I owned). It was really beautiful out there so I took a couple minutes to snap some pictures.
