I was assigned to find a subject that was involved with something that started with an "F" and had a Western tie. This is Alex Solomito, an 18-year-old freshman, who joined the Barren River Volunteer Fire Department 4 weeks ago. Alex has always been a big fan of firefighting and even dressed up as one for Halloween and birthday parties.
